| I haven't written in this in a few months. The summer is winding down, and my third year of Pharmacy School is about to begin. Man, the first 2 years flew by.
That got me thinking...it has been 2 years since I played live music. that kind of sucks. I miss it. I need to get the boys together for a jam session or something. I wish I wasn't totally broke and had to work all the damn time. My debt is catching up to me, but it always feels that way right before school starts. Once I get my fin aid, then all will be well.
We are going to New Orleans on Sunday. We are staying till a week from Thursday. We get back....and we move into a new place. THAT will be fun...
I have been going to the gym pretty regularly. Now, I need to get in the habit of eating better (and less). Food is friggen AWESOME!
Jebb told me I was pretty ADD. I kind of think I am. I bet some good ole amphetamines will aid in my getting in shape thing...
The baby lion cubs at the zoo are CUTE!!!!!
The Dark Knight was pretty good. Heath Ledger's lip licking kind of annoyed me. But, I am not supposed to say that because he is dead...

| | I have been having some heart flutters lately, and they are really taking a toll on my sleep schedule. it is 5:15am and i can't sleep. i probably got 30 minutes of sleep, but was awoken by a flutter and it freaked me out. they are the worst...the ones that wake you up. I've been to the Dr a few times about them, but they always tell me my heart is normal. I have had 2 or 3 ECG's and they've been fine. I did have caffeine at dinner, so that might be the trigger. School is a little stressful right now, too. My flutters have peaked every semester towards final exams. i think this is my body telling me that i need to make some lifestyle changes. I am at the heaviest I have ever been. I dunno when I got 8 hours of sleep last. When i go out, i smoke when I drink. There are so many vices. blah. | | It is 6:30 CT, my neice and nephew are watching Disney channel, and I just popped open a Coors Light. Headed down to 6th St in Austin here in a little while. I doubt I will have much fun, since the troop venturing is my parents, my 55 yr old cousin and her hubby, and my sister. Hopefully, someone other than my sister or myself will be driving home. | My sister and I finally convinced my mom and dad that flying to Texas would be so much better than driving. So, we are going to fly into Houston, stay with family around there for a couple of days, then drive over to Austin for a couple of days. I am pretty excited about the Austin thing. I hope there is a decent show somewhere over there while I am in town...sometime between Aug 11 and 18.
I passed my med chem class, so I actually had a better GPA this semester than last. Got my B avg and I am happy with that. I have always been a B student. F@#$ all those over-achievers that get A's all the time. It's all about the KILLAH B'Z BITCHES!
My dog peed outside this morning. That makes me happy.
I cannot get past level 7 on Guitar Hero 2 on Expert. Madhouse, the Trooper, Psychobilly Freakout, Rock this Town, and Laid to Rest all own me. And I am sure that if i do beat them, then YYZ will own me, too. | | comments: 2 comments or Leave a comment |
